Annual Catholic Appeal
Happy Easter! It is Springtime in St. Louis! Baseball is underway!
It is Springtime in St. Louis! Baseball is underway! Children (if not their parents) are anxious to start summer vacation! And the Annual Catholic Appeal is right around the corner.
Without a doubt, we’ve had a difficult year. But, if you are looking for it, you will see the will of our Father in abundant acts of kindness and love. The suffering that people endured during the pandemic inspired a sea of good deeds, as we all helped to carry one another’s burdens. Even in the midst of their own uncertainty, people were generous, and they wanted to help their neighbors and communities.
“Thy Will Be Done” ... For 2,000 years, Christians have dared to utter these words with confidence, for the will of our Father is always good, merciful, and compassionate. The Annual Catholic Appeal helps the Catholic Church in St. Louis to embody the will of the Father every day through thousands of acts of love in the parishes, schools, and ministries of the Archdiocese of St. Louis. The Appeal unites all of us, and makes us present in a real way to each of these good deeds.
Please join the tens of thousands of others who will make a gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal this year. The Appeal will launch in parishes across the Archdiocese of St. Louis this coming weekend. You can also learn more, or make a gift online, at aca.archstl.org. Thank you for your consideration.
Most importantly, please pray for the Appeal. Together, we turn to Mary, our Mother, who must have prayed the words "Thy Will Be Done" most perfectly, and to St. Joseph, who provided for the Holy Family. We entrust the Appeal, and all who depend on it, to their care.
